Hey There
My first post here!
I have the Opportunity to purchase a large amount of Yellow tongue flooring panels (3600mm by 900mm) for a very good price and was wondering if it could be used to cover the outside walls of a new studio. The studio will be built within a large factory/warehouse and I will be the only one in there. I have done searches but can find nothing. Because of the price ($20 AU a sheet) I'm wondering if it would be a good option. I'm planning on: (from outside in) Yellow tongue > Studs > Rockwool > air gap > Rockwool > Studs > MDF > Plasterboard. Will this be giving a decent amount of soundproofing for live band work ( Varying styles ).
Thanks

John,
Not a whole lot of isolation there I'm sorry to say.
But you don't explain what exactly you have to isolator yourself from - so it's really sort of hard to say if this would be enough.
