Hi, this is my first post. I have been read some of the other threads trying to get ideas for my studio. The wife has so graciously allowed me to turn our two car garage into a studio. We are in a subdivision, but the good thing is my neighbor on the side where the studio will be is also into production. I need some layout ideas. I have a garage that is 19' wide, 20' in length and the ceiling is 10' high. I have included a gif file that shows the layout of the garage now. I would like to have a vocal booth and a drum booth if possible, but if there is not enough space, I definately want the vocal booth. I want to be able to create music for tv and film as well as, my production of artists that im working with. Im working with a budget of $2000-$2500. I've been reading and I see a lot of the work that can be done by friends that do that type of work, so the big thing would be materials. Also, I would like to have a door put in that would access directly outside. I would like to keep traffic through the house to a minimum. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
