Are these the correct type of resilient channel

its looks more like a single leg furring strip... most resilient channel has holes cur into the support leg to provide more decoupling. here's an example: http://www.soundproofing.org/images/RC- ... _proof.jpg Dietrich Steel or similar products will generally be more cost effective than getting RC from a dedicated acoustics treatment supply company.
