Is my room to big for a studio ?

HI, Glad to be new here :) I have a larg basement room and I'm so suspecious(spelling) of its size. Its 7 Meters long by 9.5 Meters wide. I'm thinking I should devide it into two rooms. So after devision the studio will be 3.30 meters wide by 4.5 meters long. So which one makes a better studio: 7 by 9.5 or 3.30 by 4.5 Tell me if you want me to provide inches instead of meters. Thanks for any sugestion.

On what are your suspensions founded? Technically, the existing room dimensions divided by two will generate the same relation, wall length to wall run, so you will in effect be creating two rooms of the same relation. Now your suspicions would increase?
