Hi, everyone.
I've decided to redecorate and fix up a bit my current studio. I've posted a picture of the live room as it is, and a concept i made in photoshop.
The room is about 6.40 m to 3.20 m and it's height 2.30. I've also posted an example of what i'm going for.
The idea is to make it more comfortable and ''classy'' as to attract more clients.I've lost a few clients cause they care more about the space and equipment more than the end result.
The thing is that i don't want to invest much, because in 4-5 years time, i intent to move elsewhere and, build a better studio with a better acoustic study in it.
So my budget is kinda low im thinking around 5000 dollars (3500 euros)
I'd like to listen to your opinions about anything. Have in mind that i'm just getting started with this, and studying various ways of getting away with a great result with less money:P
So my idea is very basic here, the main thing i want to do is the panels on the right. My wall now has wooden studs beneath those celotex cardboard surfaces. On the new wall i'm thinking of screwing plexiglass on the right wall studs, and put wood frames on the connections to cover them.I'm even thinking of putting lights behind the plexiglass.
Anyways, i'd really like to listen to your opinions
Cheers :)
