I am going to be building another studio attached to an already existing recording facility. It will be a much smaller space then the main room we have (21ft. x 16ft. with 12 ft. ceiling). I have tried to figure out the best way to lay out the room. If anyone can give me some feedback I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!!! -Brad

I also wanted to add my material ideas for my plan of the room. To soundproof the walls, I was planning on using three materials layered... homosote, plywood, and sheetrock. There will be insulation between the walls as well. Thanks!

Hi Brad. My feedback would be to continue to read until you have a keen understanding of what it is that prompts you to use these materials for your build. Rather then a guess or from overhearing, maybe a few more hours reading would produce something more solid as it pertains to your isolation wants. Good luck.
