Has anyone tried using sheets of Polyethylene for bass traps and lining studio walls. It comes in Thickness's of 25mm to 150. Normally used in cavity walls, floor insulation, roof insulation.

i think the Quinntherm products might be on the lightweight side but maybe stacking them or other arrangements could prove useful...
