Ok, guys this is probably a stupid question but i need to ask it, i am planning on soffit mounting my m-audio bx8a's but want to find out the following, ideally you would want your room to have a flat eq response with your monitors but if you soffit mount your monitors it is going to exagerate the monitors bass frequency and response? so this is not good?
please explain how this works....

The m-audio bx8a monitor is a nearfield, so making them soffitbuild into the wall may not be ideal. They are build to stand NEAR your ears..
