I have 252 square feet of space in my basement that I would like to convert into a home recording studio. the dimensions are 21' L X 12' W X 6.5 H The floor and walls are made of concrete and the ceiling has wood studs. I would like to have Control Room and a small vocal booth where I will sometimes put an electonic drum set in there. Yes, the hight is a concern but I have to work with what I have.
Please advise me as to room sizes (a drawing would really help) and construction (materials) tips for I have never done this before.
I thank you guys in advance for all your replies,
Juan

Sorry, but I have to admit that I did not read the "Read Before You Post" section. I am located in Crete, Illinois and my goal is to build a home recording studio in my basement to record my own music and some times I have some friends come by and we work together.
I hope to get any advise I can get for I am new to this I never build a studio before and the guy who's doing the construction never build a studio before but he's a contractor.
Again, I am sorry,
What about windows, what about access, what about picture(s)?
What about over head plumbing, pipes, ductwork, beams and support posts?
