Hi there guys, i was wondering, i have the option of installing normal sliding doors in my studio or i could get doors that have a film inside them that claim to be sound proof up to 36db, but it costs more than twice the amount of a normal door, do you guys think it is worth it, have any of you guys used or heard of the 36db soundproof glass in you can use in sliding doors?
search or posts by user - "brad jacob" His studio build had a re-used slider.. He didn't take readings for you to compare against, but he's noted positive results. Also, he's had some good contributions to other threads on this subject as well.
