neat but useless. better off with a simple 4ch pocket recorder, and a good mic. starting @ $299 US in samash.com. some even have phantom power, or good quality stereo mics + fits into your pocket.
if i was going to get a laptop form factor, i'd get a laptop and a good preamp/audio converter and mic. send into into my laptop firewire or usb 2 plus all the software i need for midi or audio manipulation. for mix a pair of m-audio 3's. all fits into a small bag.
