Hello,
Here is the situation (potential really):
I have a room with a door directly outside so ventilation for oxygens sake is not an issue. The room is not too big--about 18' x 12'. It will be a freestanding building with the standard m-a-m room within a room construction. I am pretty set with the portable a/c idea--this will be a practice/jam room not a studio where all day would be spent. So here is the question (and I have been searching a lot to find the answer, though unsuccessfully): How to I vent the portable a/c's hot air out of the room while limiting the effect on isolation?
Thanks,
Aaron

Hey Aaron,
Its not all that dificult to make a silencer yourself. Install it between your MAM so you can hide it.
However Rod chimed in on someone elses silencer lately and said to install the ports on the side opposite each other. Sort of like an "S" curve if you will. opposed to.... end to end
These are mine and they work great
And it makes it easier to install up against a wall and take up less room
Then from there port it to the outside
Peace
Tom
