Hi Dan Upgrade to phpBB3 = It's captcha system avoids spam bots signing up. It has an easy upgrade feature to allow all members and forum settings etc to be transferred from the phpBb2 version. The admin and user features on phpBB3 are a squillion times better than phpBB2. If ya want any more info gimme a shout. :) You won't need to mess about with disabling signup pages, etc to avoid spambots. Cheers PaulThen after all that, dealing with bloody spammers even off line some of the spambots manage to sign up. One day I wil figure out how to disable the signup page yet still allow the admin to add members manually. Dan Nelson

If you are going build one or more, step the design with posts on this forum to make sure everything is correct, or that that the design compromises are the best for your application.
