Rough cost of a 1200sq ft studio

This is my first post here after a bit of trolling, a wealth of great information. I have a really quick question that I'm sure some of you have some experience with, I'm just trying to get a ball park number on what it would cost to build a 1200sq ft studio space.. We've been starting to outgrow our existing home studio setup and I'm just kicking around the idea at this point. Conrol Room Studio Proper 1 iso Lounge Thanks in advance, Jon

Start by reading this. When writing your next post, also include to what level you want the (eg drywall walls or mahogany) and how much of the labor you will be doing yourself. Also is it a new building or an existing space. Andre

one simple solution is to find the average per sq ft cost of moderate to high end homes in your locale. the cost of your studio will be either higher or lower than that.
