i was surprised to see the reply notification so fast in my e-mail Thnx Man the space usage is perfect for me looks comfortable but i'm still wondering about the rear wall in CR1 still have a free 90 angle i only need the Booth and the Cr1 Room and im really hapy for the extra space next for a lounge and an office for graphic and multimedia design anyway so now and grace to Golfo  we're conserned only by the two first left rooms in my country the red 10CM Bricks are much cheaper than Gypsum can it be used instead ? i surfed the forum and there is a lot of calculations methodes. i ve worked in many studios for the last years and each one has it's owen values and owen room mode :( so i can't define wich is the right one with my naked ears , does any one have some resourceful links for this kind of documentations ? i blindly trust a lot of users in this forum 8) [img=http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/3083/ps2205ychoplanbf3sr5.th.jpg] [img=http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/5602/cogebsanitaire119755962jl3.jpg]
actually none of the walls added are gypsum but rather frames with rigid insulation and cloth to create absorption over the walls and shape some of the reflections. the back wall of the CR - i'd line with broadband porous absorbers including hanging one on the door.
oops !! got it Thnx
Glenn, What's the purpose of the exposed 2x's on some of the cloth walls?
none really, its an artifact of a quick sketch to suggest ideas... ideally with proper carpentry work, the edges of the walls will mesh right in with the finished work.
