With the prices of flat panels dropping recently, I'm looking at incorporating video feeds between the control room and recording spaces. (Control room on 1st floor, recording spaces all in basement) Possibly 3-4 total TV's and camera's.
Any thoughts on LCD's vs. Plasma?
Is projection a possibility? (hung from ceiling and aimed at a wall)
Any of these noisy or generate excessive heat?
Any advice on camera types?
Video feeds. LCD, Plasma, or possibly Projection TV's???

Hmmm,
I'm not an expert with video how ever if it were me....
I'd go with cheaper DV cams off of eBay. Anything will work but DV always seems to look better the let's say HI8. Going with HD DV cam would not be cost effective.
LCD's are cheaper.
I've got a 21" LCD monitor by gateway (FPD2275W TFT LCD Monitor). It has multiple video inputs and does PIP all by itself. I might use the PIP to ghost image a cam over the top of my recording software, or I got a TV sitting right next to it.
Webcams are also really cheap. If you are able to hook up a dual and mirrored display and get the monitors in the right spots and have a spare old computer you might be able to use webcams which start at $30. Good webcams have higher frame rates are larger resolution.
All depends on your budget and willingness to run more cable.
