check out John's wall units, and of course you can use built-in slats to create angles, use porous broadband absorption scattered around the room, etc to break up parallel surfaces and get a nice balanced space. do not put carpet on the walls, or even on the floor except as area rugs. its a very common mistake to try to remove all the high end. start with trapping in all the corners, and if needed ceiling-wall corners. this absorption may well provide enough low and mid-high control.
