Acoustic Pannel Idea(feedback anyone?)

This was an Idea for a cheep pannel for absorb/difuse is it any good? Made from masonite board 1/8 " with 2" rigid fiberglass. 702 with standoffs about 3" to 4" off of wall.

yea thats great but are they effective and if so to what freqs.
It's basically like a broadband absorber reflecting back part of the higher frequencies. I would dare to doubt the diffusing qualities, but I have nothing substantial to back that up. Is the placement, number and size of the holes an esthetic consideration, or did you design them with a specific practical purpose?
