you all use sketchup to design your studios? how do you get it so detailed? I have the free version but you have to design all te components yourself. are there any nice "studio" pluginns or component collections?

3d warehouse has a bunch of free components. you can also sign up at www.formfonts.com for an annual subscription fee which allows you to decorate things a bit better. and in my case, i model equipment all the time (esp with clients) to make sure things fit and the rendered images looks correct. all the rest - details are added by using scripts, manual edits, and many hours of work in the drawing, as well as numerous calculations needed to justify the design decisions...
