Hey!
Previously I asked for help to make the best design to my small room.
Now I've decided to treat my room Gullfo's way.
Original room sketchup file: HERE
Here's the goal:
External image, not preserved — original: http://junkka.irc-galleria.net/j/images22/00/05/17/31/75132559.jpg
dimensions of the original room clockwise starting from the wall with window:
380cm, 220cm, 96cm, 105,6cm, 215cm, 300cm
height: 250cm
How loud I am?
I make computer based music. (soul, rnb, hiphop)
I don't play music too loud, only short periods when doing a mix.
Neighbours?
Yes, there are neighbours behind the wall on the left side from the mixing position. They are pretty young and accept my music. Isolation seems to be good tho.
This is a row house built in 1990.
The thicker walls ahead and on the left are made of concrete, as is the roof.
the other walls are chipboard. (poorly isolated)
Behind the mixing position there's a wardrope covering the whole wall. the 5 doors of the wardrope are made of chipboard too. (I think)
Wardope is going to be full of clothes, sheets, pillows, etc.
Speakers?
I'm using behringer thruth b2031 active nearfields.
I just noticed one problem with the design. There's a radiator under the window, and I can't build the new wall so close to the original. the radiator comes 7cm out from the wall.
Budget?
My budget is 2000€. (~3000$)
It's for the material (walls, isolation, acoustics, screws, etc.)
I'm trying to start the project as soon as possible, but I'd like to get the important guidelines from you before I start.
Thanks.
Jukka
