Hi friends,
This is my first post, I find this site seeking some advice on building my new studio, and I completely found it... completely I can find the help from the forums I need as well.
I just took a look at a new space today, and I'm nowhere near a floorplan or sizes or posting pics yet, but there is a question I'd really like to get out of the way before it ever becomes an issue.
The "tentative" room that would house my control room for my live room has multiple windows on one side.... The side will be parallel to the window for the control room.
I'd obviously have to set up my desk so that both windows are to my sides and directly in front of me and behind me would be the walls...
So what issues (other than leakage into the outside world... that won't be an issue) would I be creating having windows to the sides of me. Should I plan on installing heavy curtains to roll over the windows during mixing for the proper room acoustics... or will that not solve a thing and screw me... or is not even an issue worth freaking out about?
Let me know!!! Thank you friends.

Hi Sam, and welcome - before we start, we need you to re-read this

mainly, edit your profile to include your general location in the world - plus any of the other points you can, although those can mostly come later... Steve
