Hi everyone. I have spent the last 2 months reading this forum and have come to the conclusion that you guys know what you are doing. On that note, I need help designing a studio. Myself and 2 others are planning to build a recording studio. Two of us are computer professionals and the other is a sound engineer. We have space available that is designated for the studio. I have included the sketchup picture of the rooms we have and dimensions. We have a limited budget of around $12,000. The budget is somewhat flexible as we progress. We are in desperate need of design help to even get started. We want to do this right the first time. I have tried to give all information, please let me know if you need more and all suggestions are welcomed. Neighbors are not a problem for sound and we will have protools and other boards for the setup. I figure the control room area will be 2 separate areas due to the amount of space there. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hai jcritesjr and welcome to this forum.
It might be handy to include a floorplan/export of your sketch. So here it is.
Hi and thanks. Forgot to do that. I hope I have given all the information that is needed at this point in the project.
jcritesjr,
It's just that lotsa new folks come here expecting some one will design them e sparkly new studio. Sure there's plenty 'o folks here who know their shiaat but that don't mean you ask and we deliver.
What I'm trying to say here; spend more time understanding the goods and learn.... buy rods book (it's indeed a mantra). Make a plan and THEN we can discuss it to the fullest. We WILL answer specific questions.
so, get designing before Gulffo will cook up another great studio ;)
