How dense do you stuff?

One question I'm always struggling with whenever I construct a bass trap - How dense should I stuff it?? Any advise? (and does this prove that building a studio is very much like having sex?) By the way..........cool forum :)

Hey, sjoko - good to see you here, welcome to the board - I kinda figured you'd be so busy makin' "happy noise" that you'd not want to even LOOK at a hammer or saw again for a while - Sooo, which type bass trap are you wondering about; broadband basic heavy absorbent spaced off the wall kind, Panel (narrower band, Ethan Winer kind) or Helmholz (slat or slot resonator, or perforated face kind? Or was this just an "ice breaker" question to open some discussion 8) Either way, it's all good - let me know where you'd like to start... Steve
