Removable Window Plugs

I searched the forum best I could and didn't find the answer to my questions (to be honest there were so many matches with so many pages I started looking, got frustrated and quit) so here I am. I'm looking to build some removeable window plugs for two windows I have in a bedroom of a house I use for recording, so I can cut some drums and do anything to lessen the amount of leakage that gets out that will almost certainly annoy the neighbors. I realize I most likely won't be soundproofing but somehting to cut the sound back would help. The two windows are very deep with sills a foot or more deep. Can someone please suggest something or point me in the direction on this forum where this has been discussed? Thanks!!
