Kiln Dried sand vs Sharp Sand

Hi Guys
I'm building from the ground up a 6.5M x 4.5M structure using 215mm x 215mm x 440 Hollow Block (8" Hollow Blocks!)
I was planning to fill the blocks with Kiln Dried sand as advised on another thread, but my builder has suggested that Sharp Sand thats "dried" would be as good
Looking at both types, its clear the kiln dried sand is much finer than standard sharp sand (or builder sand as it may be known).
Any thoughts on this ?
