Drywall or drop ceiling ect...?

Post by Jimmy K. »

 I have just recently started using this site. Actually, it's the 1st one. Anyway I need direction and advise. For my control room ceiling, which is better, drywall & foam sections, or drop ceiling accoustic tiles? A floor covering on top of concrete slab? My control room is rectangular, roughly 13x24, with everything squared. I just found out about angled walls & corner sound traps. what can i do on a very limited budget to help with as close as possible perfect mix. [/b]

I just cross-posted the above post to Jimmy's thread in the Studio Construction forum to consolidate them into a single discussion.
