flush mount k+h O300 + 0800 sub

Post by jumper24 »

Hi All

Im in planning stage of my new small home studio..
(319Cm x 379Cm)

Do you think its are possible to flush mount my O300, and then have the subwoofer free standing in the room??

Or:
Should i sell the sub and go for flush mounting the O300 monitor alone

Or:
Build some good corner slot resonator and place my speakers on a loudspeaker stand ?
(i think a room like this one: http://www.johnlsayers.com/HR/index1.htm)

Or is it possible to hire some one with the skills that cold design the room for maybe 3-400$ (or does it cost much more ) ??

Best regards Ivers

you could soffit mount them or free-stand. i'd keep the subwoofer in case its needed but wouldn't soffit mount it since you'd likely need to move it around to find the ideal spot for it later. attached is a rough design. you would put a cloud overhead to push the "apparent" ceiling peak back past the listening position.
