Finding these guys was a blessing after hunting for 703 unsuccesfully. <unless I wanted to drive to Columbus>

Thank you:!: You just made my search A LOT easier. So is rockwool pretty much the same as the rigid fiberglass? Is there any difference at all? Is it 2 completely different materials with the same desirable proerties?

Very similar properties from what I've read but not as easy to work with and easier to get. Worked great for my gobo and I plan on using lots of it when I get to my studio.
So where do you live? I'm Anderson/Eastgate area.

The Rockwool/Mineralwool is not as rigid as the fiberglass 703. It fairly easy to work with though. I found that cutting it w/ a filet knife works great.
You'll have to do a search on the difference of 703 & wool products. Someone here (maybe Steve) posted it somewhere on the site what the differences are. As far as acoustics, they are relatively close to the same. Cost difference (from my experience here in Nashville), the 703 was 3-5 times higher than Roxul and I could only get 703 at a maximum of 2".
