Hey John
I am building a new control room in my barn studio.
But I need a good layout. Can you help me?
I have seen this sort of layout used alot, I think that it may work well for me as well.

Thanks

That plan modified will work well for you. You have 2' of depth I didn't have and 6 feet of width I didn't have. that will work well for you and to your advantage. Allows you to have a larger window between the control room and the studio for one.
Not to mention does the room sound awesome.

Per Johns recomendation because my room is only 13' deep I ma the entire rear wall absorptive.
If you saw the pic dhwoing the A/C Unit, that was a portion of the rear wall. I angle a false "framed" wall according to the plan and stuffed the frames with 4" Mineral Wool then coverd it with cloth as you can see from the pic.

That is the pic I am refernecing, that brown stuff behind the fabric is the Mineral wool. I Used 3.5pcf density 4" Mineral Wool.
