Someone posted this link on the MIO mailing list:

http://www.mioculture.com/store/pc/view ... dproduct=9

I surfed the site but could not any specs or published test data, etc... All I could find were the following claims:

Product Info:
Designed to diffuse sound, reduce acoustic glare and eliminate standing waves, this design combines cost-effective sound control with an elegant weave pattern

in the FAQ:
The Acoustic Weave Modular 3D Wallpaper pattern is specifically designed as an acoustic tile. Weave is a sound diffusor tile designed to improve a room's acoustic performance in the high frequency range.

Anyone here have thoughts or know anything about this?

Jeff

That's one tip-off...

One thing that matters a lot with diffusors is how low they work to. With designs like that, the low frequency effectiveness is directly related to their depth. A depth of 2.25 inches is not very useful. However, as wallpaper it's pretty cool. But that's about it as best I can tell.
