Fitz,

What are you doing on the computer. I figured you'd be in Californication chasing those new tools by now.

Mohammed came some 600 years after Christ and has never left such a mark.
Bryan - when Baghdad flourished as the center of knowledge, around 1000AD under Mohammed's Islamic belief system, it produced the scientific method, mathmatics, medicine and astronomy. At the same time christianity produced nothing more than the Inquisition and was burning witches at the stake.
Our Country was founded on these truths. It is all over our constitution and it is this truth of God and His Son Jesus that made the US a great Nation.
I'm sorry - as I understand it your constitution makes NO mention of god and your forefathers, who wrote it, intentionally left him out of your constitution. On the otherhand your constitution does allow the freedom to pursue your own religion be it christian or NOT.
"Porfessing themselves wise, they became fools."
It depends who you mean by 'they'....... I could easily turn it back on you.

Peace :)

cheers

Since Thomas adjourned us, does that mean that we cant play any more? I will any way.
I guess, for me, it boils down to the fact that from my viewpoint I need a concrete proof that can validate the non-existence of a supreme designer of the universe.
That what it boils down to, some of us need proof that there is, some need proof that there isn't.

Hey Darryl, thanks, had to postpone departure till tomorrow.
Just got an invite from one of the guys on the analog forum to stop by and visit while I'm in LA. Cool. Always nice to make new friends. Wish I could meet people who visit here. One of these days maybe.

Wow, thank you so much for the offer John. If it weren't for the contract I just started, I would be delighted. Double delighted. :D Alas, I have a 5 month deadline, and with the rain coming, we have to get this building enclosed. And then start on the inside. Pretty cool project. High $ greenhouse.
I'm leaveng tomorrrow for LA to pick up 4 big tools that I purchased to do this. Soooooo  I'll have to take a "rain"
check. Although, if something comes up, I'll give ya a holla!!

Fitz, when you get back from LA shoot me a PM here - I have new info on phase converters for your 3-phase tools, and need specs on ALL your 3-phase motors (ID plate info will do nicely) - I think you'll like it...

Most likely I'll be flying, although not sure yet... Steve

Oh fantastic. Thank you so much. I have two. Will do Steve.
My appreciation and ANYTHING I can do for you, just holler. PM when I get back.

YEAAAAAAAAA!

This is going to be a long drive in my little funky 71 Datsun 1200. But the last time I drove it from Sac to Roseburg, it used a whopping $14 in gas

Hey John, let me know when you will be in Canada, seeing as that is a hop skip and jump away.

I am going to try to get a chance to meet Bryan (since he is less than 100 miles away and about 30 from my mom) , especially if I every get around to calling him about building materials.

I just looked at this for the first time in over a year. What a great thread.
What fun. Kind of reminds me of a political discussion, but much nicer.
