Nothing new, I know. Soundproofing.

SO I searched all the other threads and stuff but couldnt find anything that gave me the answers i need, so um...help me out?
Basically, I'm 15, and spend most of my time in my room making music. I have a relativly small room (could fit four twin beds or so...) and the way I have it set up is:

Two desks that meet at the right hand corner, with a midi keyboard, computer, speakers, and stuff
Then in the back left corner I have my drumset
And then various guitars, instruments and mics laying around.
My only problem is that my family (who I live with) is going insane with the noise. Especially late at night when I want to play, but it's just too fucking loud. Solution?
Sound proofing? I'm not looking to improve the acuostics or the sound of the instruments and everything, simply to soundproof it relativly well. It's okay if they can hear a little, but they shouldn't hear it down the hallway and downstairs....
Is there anyway that I can pull that off?

I'd really appreciate any help you can offer.

Mickey, welcome; your problem isn't uncommon, I'm sure you know; but an acceptable "fix" kinda IS uncommon, depending on things like whether your room is upstairs or down, budget, and how the building was constructed in the first place; so if you could re-read this

and cover ALL the bold points that could possibly apply to you, we could come a lot closer to an accurate answer for your specific situation; thanks... Steve
