SIDE WALL ABSORBER newbie question

I have a control room 14'4" long by 10'2" wide and 7'4" high. If I build the side wall absorbers:
- Do I need to cover the entire length of the room, or can I get away with building 2 smaller ones and positioning them on only part of the entire length of the wall ?
- Conversely, do I have to run them right to the ground or can I start half way up the wall but run the entire length ?

Thanks for everyone's help.

The aim is to take them just past your listening position and full length from floor to ceiling.

Thanks John. Just for clarification, can I get away with making 3 for each wall, or do I need to make just one ? I wondering about the angles. One gradual angle over 10 feet or 3 angles over 3.3 feet each.

One gradual angle over 10 feet
yup - one either side. Do a search for slot resonators on this site. ;)
