babelfish thinks it should be "canal résilient" - somehow I doubt it's that easy
Are you planning a design that needs RC? There are more effective ways to go in a lot of cases... Steve

Hi Steve, again thanks
Yes I got the same translation and it does not mean anything that I know.
About my use of RC, I have a two room garage to decorate. I have been posting two longs emails with all details I could think of but did not get anyhelp appart from you. I think there were too many details and it put people off a bit. I guess I have to take a decision and to find what to do myself. The room I am starting with is half burried in the ground(2 walls). The 3 other walls including selling are to be insulated as much as possible. I was thinking building insulated walls on theses 3 walls and aborbing one on the others 2.
I read the long pdf with all the experiment on walls construction and they TL capabilities. What I understand is that a two leaf wall is necessary. Starting with the celling, I will use the actual celling as one leaf and hang up another one made of 2cm thick of plainwood. In between 3cm of air and 10 of rock whool. On the other wall I will do the same thing but the frame that will hold the wood will be made of steel framing. I was looking at RC to put in between the frame and the wood and specially in between the floor and the framing to avoid transmission at this point. This wall will not touch the main one as it will take support on the hanging up celling and the floor.
Thanks
Alex
