i know the answer must be fairly simple, but it's got me!

i'm building slot absorbers at a 6 degree angle and i need to bevel some strips of 2x2 at 6 degrees along one edge. i have a mitre saw that can do skirting etc. but i can't figure out how to do a long strip!

anticipating an embarrasingly easy solution,

Table Saw..... They allow you to angle the cuts and just slide the board on down.....

Jon, I'm not sure if you're talking about a hand miter saw or a powered one, but neither one will do what you want. As Bryan said, a table saw - or radial saw, jointer, band saw - even a hand circular "skil" saw if you're careful.

Other than that, you might have to hire it done at a local cabinet shop that has tools like that... Steve
