resilient channel ceiling in a loft?

Hey guys,
I have a commercial neighbor upstairs from me in my loft - their space only overlaps half of mine. They are noisy during the day - I usually only work at night anyway, but would love to quiet them if possible. My ceiling is divided up in a grid by exposed wood beams about 1 ft deep. Would it be possible to install some sort of dropped resilient-channel based ceiling (or something else) across these beams, just in the parts where their floor overlaps my ceiling (between the beams)? Would there be another suggested solution? Approximately what would this cost? I know nothing about drywall or any of this so I would be using a contractor. Thanks in advance!
