Luis, what exactly did you order from them? Was it 1", 2", 1/2" neoprene? Also, were you happy with their service etc?

I got 60Duro 1/2" neoprene...they sale it by the sqr yard...I got 2 Sqr yards and cut it up in pucks. I still have some pucks left...I floated my control room vocal booth and studio. Delivery was kind of expensive...it's pretty heavy stuff.

This is what I pay...I don't know if it is expensive or cheap....

$151.00 = 2 Sq. Yards 1/2" Neoprene, 60 Duro.
+ 37.41 = Shipping and handling

For people close to Brisbane, Australia, Reverse Garbage in West End has large quantities of half inch neoprene. They have it in discs about 10 cm in diameter (reasonable puck size), and it's dirt cheap. 20 cents a puck I think.

There is a compnay called FB Wright where I buy my neoprene from. Also when I made a double thick studio door and needed opencell rubber to join the two doors I got it htere as well

Yeah they will sned you out a very thick catalog of their various products.

I checked into them when I was floating my 1st floor and found the neoprene scene to be the most cost effective for my needs.

hi,
i have contacted a few places to buy neoprene to float the floor in our new studio.

all three places i called would not give me a price over the phone, and said that they would get back to me with a quote.

this leads me to believe that they do not have it in stock, and they would have to special order it (which means ultimately, it will cost me alot more)

a freind suggested that i contact a recylcing company.

does anyone know of a place in the NY/NJ?Philadelphia area where i can get a hold of this neoprene?

Cool. the price seems cool 30 sqt feet for 22.00

have them cut it into to 2" Strips x 36" the cost goes up some, but not much.
