Quicktime

Wish I had seen this 1st, The exterior walls in my CR would have been loaded with this. I cheated. Oh well.... At least the inside is Mineral Wool

However, the live room is being done completely right.

And Yet the AFB is less expensive than the Fiberglass. Arrrgh!!!!!!

Hey Bryan,

I'm in Chicago. This is the first time that I've heard of rock wool. Where do you buy this stuff? It sounds like a miracle. I always hated fiberglass. Too fuckin itchy.

hit roxul's website and they can direct you to a disributor in your area.

Go to the contact link and call the company.

That's how I found my local distributor.

CR Question

Hey All,

I have one wall in my control room done, and I am waiting on my window material to finish the other wall. Right now, they are framed in 2x4's, have fiberglass insulation in between the suds, Mass Loaded Vinyl Barrier and Drywall up. From what I have been reading, it seems more drywall is always a good idea, but should I consider any other material on the walls that separate the "live" area from my CR? Keep in mind, I have already spent more money than my wife would have liked, so cost is a factor.
