I noticed that as of today, the site no longer "remembers me," nor do I have the option to choose "Log me on automatically each visit" when I log in. Might this patch have had something to do with this?

I've already done that... In fact, I'm the one who wrote the procedure.
What's really odd is that it appears I don't even have the option to do it anymore... The procedure linked above is when the "login automatically" feature doesn't work properly. In this case, it doesn't show up at all.
