I have been home recording for a few years now and realized the major weakness of my setup. I have no idea about room acoustics. So I have started reading the info provided by this great site. At the same time I thought I would ask for some help from the knowledgeable people of this site. I have a rectangular bedroom (in my rented two bedroom apartment) that I use as my "control Room" and a rectangular walk in closet as my vocal booth. Low budge I know but hey gotta use what you can afford. Anyways where should I even begin. I don't know much about this stuff but I know enuff to know that I have serious sound issues in booth rooms. I will naturally keep reading but some direction from someone that has been here before would be great. Thanks

Geoff

Geoff,

Besides the great info and advice you'll find here and on John's SAE site, see the FAQ for my Acoustics forum:
