STC Rating for Rockwool

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Does anyone have an approximate STC rating for rockwool 50mm or 100mm?

ZERO - Absorbents by themselves don't BLOCK sound, they only ABSORB it. When used inside a wall as part of a complete system, insulation can make up to about 10 dB difference in the overall TL of the wall... Steve
