2 inch JM 814 in Seattle for $0.75! Yippee!!

Find out where to get building materials in your local area. If you find a good outlet post it and others will be able to access it through the search engine.

2 inch JM 814 in Seattle for $0.75! Yippee!!

Post by Mark Blasco »

After calling around I found a place that has Johns Manville 814 (they called it spinglass, but I am assuming that it is similar to fiberglass) at $0.75 a square foot for 2 inch thick 2X4 boards (they are a bundle of 9 sheets for $54).

Looking at another post, this should work, but I just want to make sure. Also, for anyone in Seattle looking for this, the woman i talked to (Jana) was very helpful and polite (which was not the case of some of the other companies that I talked to ). I asked them about delivery, and she said that if I bought 3-4 bundles they could probably deliver it for free (which is great since I don't have a truck)

The company is listed in the phonebook as Bartell E J Co. (425) 228-4111

I hope this helps someone (and if this is not the right stuff please let me know before I order a bunch of it!)
