Liek others, I'm looking for 703, Roxul SafeNSound, or a JM equivalent. Also looking for a supplier for neoprene sheets.

I'll also respond to this post if I find some.

If any other mpls area folks are looking maybe we can buy together? Easier to get a dealer to work with us with a bigger order.

I found 703 at API in Roseville-651-636-4320. This was the only place I could find in the twin cities area who had some in stock.

I found a place called Nott Co. in Arden Hills that has neoprene rubber but haven't figured out what I can get from them. I'll be calling them tomorrow to get details about what they have and how much it costs and will post then.

Any luck?

Just wondering what you found...I'm also in Minneapolis and in need of 703/705, etc. The last time I called around(a year or two ago), no one seemed to know what I wanted, or wanted to give me info.

Thanks,
Jed

API in Roseville is the only place I've found in the area who knows anything about insulation and has 703 or did and can get it but as most people who have looked know this stuff is really expensive and I'd glady buy a cheaper alternative if anyone could tell me where to get it. I believe Lynn Farnsworth is the person to talk to that knows quite a bit and she has all the data within arms reach to answer questions nobody else seems to know like what density a specific product is.

There is a place called Acoustical Surface Inc. in Chaska that has a good website and specializes in soundproofing but they have very expensive stuff which I can't justify buying but would have made it much easier to accomplish what I want. I got a lot of help on the phone from a guy named Ned I think.

Haven't found a good source of thick rubber but the place I mentioned in earlier post may have what I need but has a $100 minimum order and I don't need that much 1/2 inch rubber to do a floating 10x12 floor in my basement.

I rep for ASI. The reason their product is more expensive is that the raw materials are 'green' in nature and are not fiberglass based.

PM me if you want more information.

This place headquartered in the Minneapolis area (Eden Prairie) lists 703 product on its website:

Haven't contacted them, so don't know about pricing, availability, small orders, etc.
