Great sounding drum room poll!

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Are great sounding drum rooms designed or simply 'found'

Hi Jules - welcome to the site :) Interesting question - what kind of drum sound do you clasify as a good drum sound?? Live - dead - in between - loose - tight - splasshy - etc.
Surely a good drum sound is a sound which is suitable for the song.

cheers
