On various studio floor plan the place when monitor tweeters axis are cutted each other is a bit behind where the engeener must be.
Is that the correct configuration??
must the monitor walls angled to make axis cut in the engeneer place??

I think it's mostly a compromise in rooms where nobody is going to want to work if it sounds like shit at the couch.

So, perhaps the way is the axis cut in the midle distance between the couch and the engeneer chair?
look at this plan, axis cut is in the engeneer chair. Maybe the couch is so far to search the midle distance...

That's probably part of it. I think you see a lot of just 60 degree canting to make an equilateral triangle, and the engineer's chair and couch just fall where they are in the room. I'd agree that you don't want to shoot straight back enough to get the couch in your second example, as it's a pretty long and narrow room.

Auxburger redesigned our studio 1 ..the speakers were sofited,,all walls were angled and or different lengthed..rear wall was a straight shot birdcage with fabric and about a 18 inch space behind as the trap..i gotta say i was in alot of rooms all over the US and a few in England and you could walk around this room [trust me we had a few "quick up" rooms that sounded crappy] and the sound change was subtle..i hated going to rooms with a couch in the rear that sounded as if you were in a muffled bass bin or where the sweet spot was so small the prodcer and enginner hear 2 different things
