HF dampening front of Helmholz resonator?

Hello,
to continue the control room thread... I was thinking about the Helmholz resonators in the back corners. These will no doubt reflect high frequencies right back to the listening position. So could you just glue something like 703 to the front (of course leaving the openings uncovered), or would this affect the resonator in any negative way?

Cheers

Ity's the same as with a panel absorber - if you mount the insulation well off the front surface of the resonator it will still work but it must be say 2 - 3 " off the front face.
