all over again - sort of

Hi All

I've been to this site long time ago, lost the url and forgot. Then today a friend of mine send me the link. Great. Last year we bought a nice house on the country side and I got myself 2 rooms that hopefully will become a reasonable studio this spring/summer. Up til today when I rediscovered this site everything was planned but now my feets are getting cold

I cleared my drawing and I would love if someone would give me a shot.
The drawing is in meters, but the control room is 13X10 (if I'm not mistaking)

I mainly do electronic recordings. But occasionally I do tracks vocals, VO's and guitars. Any major tracking would take place in my living room. 62 sq meters, and high ceiling. Monitoring - I'll use some DIY fullrange as nearfield. And I want to get some big club simulating mains.

Hi Jan - I'm a bit confused - are we dealing with a room that is 5.65m long and 3.1m wide?? I assume the angled walls are your design?? - can we in fact use the whole rectangulararea or are the wall already in place?? What is with the 300mm machine room??

cheers

Hi John

The walls are fixed, the angel is part of our new living room design. So the control room
can be no bigger than whats on the drawing 4.1x3.1. (or 4.5x3.1 without the "machine room")

The 300 mm machine room. Well this can be altered. Not made yet but
I was planning to do a light wall and the put the computers in there.
I hate the sound of those. The plan was to put a small closet kinda door in the wall.
