here in australia we call them noggins - there must be a US term for them.
It's compulsory in our building code that you have a noggin every four feet in a wall construction.

Hi,
nice setup! just wondering, what's the dimension of your control room and iso booth?
also, how come the glass in front of you in the control room reflects sound upwards instead of downwards?
is your ceiling treated to absorp these reflected waves?
