Bass trapping in SMALL space

I have extremely limited space, but would still be able to listen to my speaker setup. The area I will be treating is roughly 6'x4'x5'. Yes, I know. Very small. I say roughly because the walls are tapered.
How much bass trapping would I need to achieve something close to a flat response? I wouldn't mind being more or less surrounded by mineral wool if it is necessary..

Research VPR absorbers. These can be made relatively thin (100-200mm) basically a sandwich of absorbent - steel plate - absorbent. Can be made to fit your space.

I think I would be tempted to just use headphones, it'll be cheaper too
