So I see burlap mentioned everywhere, but wildly enough, Muslin is cheaper per yard where I live.
I was wondering if Burlap is the only recommended fabric to use for covering your traps? Or if there is a broader selection.
Like what thread count is more ideal?
Will a Jersey knit's flexibility have any bearing on its acoustic properties?
Is cotton too finely woven?
What is the realstic, measured effect of fabric weave on sound waves, especially when talking about bass traps?
What frequencies are reflected by a common bed sheet?
